Welcome to my colorful world! I’m Cheryl Morrice, and I get to spend my days in my dream job as a live wedding artist.
Scotland is full of beautiful wedding locations
One of the most enchanting aspects of my work is painting weddings. The joy, the laughter, and the love that fills the air! It’s a privilege to be invited to witness these once-in-a-lifetime moments. I like to arrive early, exploring the venue. Setting up my easel, I take a moment to get my bearings, soak in the anticipation, the excitement that fills the atmosphere.
As the day unfolds, Im on the lookout to capture those key moments that define a wedding. The exchange of vows, the first kiss as newlyweds, kids running wild, and the dance that seals the day’s magic – each scene an illustration waiting to be painted.
Guest Portraits
One of my favorite parts of the day is painting guest portraits. These aren’t your ordinary photographs; they’re personalized keepsakes.
I like to see smiles with delight as guests receive their illustrated portraits. It’s a beautiful way for them to take a piece of the day home with them, a keepsake from the celebration.
Beyond Weddings: Corporate Functions and More
While weddings are close to my heart, I’m available for corporate functions, where I bring a touch of creativity to the professional world.
Whether it’s illustrating the highlights of a keynote speech or crafting a visual representation of a brand, my live illustrations add a dash of colour to any corporate event.
