Cheryl Morrice is a self taught Scottish artist born and brought up in Fife, Scotland.
Cheryl paints in oils and watercolour and has developed a loose art style which can be described as painterly.
After living in Fife for a number of years,Cheryl is relocating to the Isle of Benbecula with the whole Outer Hebrides to explore.
She enjoys the countryside and coastline from where she can take inspiration.

Coastal scenes, lovely ladies, landscapes, gardens, wildlife, dancers, mothers, cafe scenes , couple paintings & more, are some of Cheryl’s featured subjects .

“I like to paint people or funny stories and celebrate life through art. Life is precious and there are little joys to be found everywhere. I paint for my own joy. If I can make people smile, well that’s a bonus.”

Cheryl began her art career almost 10 years ago selling from stalls in the Edinburgh Grassmarket. This branched to commercial shows elsewhere and children’s book illustration.
Cheryl’s art has now sold to homes around the world from her home studio.
Cheryl currently enjoys plain air painting and undertaking personal studio commissions from her home studio.
